Get Ready to Glow! Dr. Glow Returns to Kelso Conservation Area
Glow disc golf is heading back to Kelso Conservation Area, and we cannot wait to light up the Blue 9 again.
On Saturday, November 7th, 2026, Dr. Glow presents Glow at Kelso as part of the ChainLink Conservation Series: a glow-in-the-dark disc golf night for everybody. When we brought glow disc golf to Kelso last September, over 50 players came out, and we even saw an ace! Now we are doing it again, and everyone is invited.
What's Happening
Glow at Kelso is structured like a tournament, but not a serious one. It is open to everybody, especially first-time players, as well as experienced players. No experience required. Bring a friend who has never played before, they will fit right in!
Once the sun goes down, the Blue 9 gets the full Dr. Glow Experience: illuminated baskets, a glowing course, and glowing discs. You will play the Blue 9, a nine-hole layout, twice around for 18 holes. It is a shotgun start, which means groups head out at the same time from different holes, so everyone starts together under the lights.
The ChainLink Conservation Series supports conservation efforts through environmental awareness by building disc golf courses to bring people back into nature, and Kelso's course was designed by ChainLink Disc Golf in partnership with Conservation Halton. A night of glow disc golf at Kelso is a pretty great way to spend an evening in nature!

How to Register and Get Into the Park
Step one: Register on DiscGolfScene.com. The $10 registration fee covers your spot in the event.
Step two: Get your park admission. It is separate from your registration, and we recommend pre-purchasing it online. Pre-purchase your park entry here, select "Kelso Main Entrance," choose Saturday, November 7th, 2026, and pick the timeslot you plan to arrive in. You can also pay in person at the gate when you arrive. Annual Conservation Halton pass holders get free entry with their membership and only need to pay the registration for the event.
Come Early and Make an Afternoon of it!
We recommend arriving earlier than the 6:00 PM players meeting. Take in some of the other amenities of the park, find parking, and check out the Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail store for snacks and their amazing pro shop inventory.
The sun starts setting around 5:00 PM, and it will be completely dark by about 6:00 PM, so if you arrive early enough, you can even get a round in on the course in the daylight before the glow begins. There will be adequate wayfinding out on the course once it gets dark, and the UDisc GPS map will help you find your way too!
Want to get a Little More Competitive?
Glow at Kelso is relaxed, but if you are an experienced player who would like something to play for, there is a prize! The winner of the tournament will be inscribed on the ChainLink Conservation Series plaque as part of this special event! The inscription will note that this was a special event, separate from the sanctioned Conservation Series tournaments held every year (resuming in 2027).
Bring Your Glow Discs
The glow is what makes this night, so please bring glow-in-the-dark discs to play with. If you need some, ChainLink Conservation Series fundraiser discs will be available at the Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail store. They are great discs to play with, and picking one up is a simple way to help support the conservation areas!
Dress for the weather
Early November evenings can get cold once the sun is down, so dress for the weather. Layers, a warm hat, and gloves are your friends.
See you under the lights
Open to all skill levels. No experience required. Come for the glow, stay for the great company, and discover what Kelso looks like after dark. Follow @drglow.ca on Instagram for event updates.
