The Glow Comes Back to Black Bear Ridge: An 18-Hole Night You Don’t Want to Miss
Mark your calendars, glow fam: on Saturday, September 26, Black Bear Ridge is bringing the Dr. Glow Experience back to the Forest & Fairways Disc Golf Course, this time as part of the ChainLink Conservation Series. If you were there for the grand opening back on August 1st, you already know what a special piece of land this is. If you weren't, this is your chance to see why we haven't stopped talking about it!
Black Bear Ridge presents the Dr. Glow Experience, in association with the ChainLink Conservation Series, and this round is all about getting people outside, into nature, and under a sky full of glowing discs. Open to all skill levels. No experience required. Just show up ready to play!
The Details
- Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
- Players meeting: 7:00 PM at Hole 1
- Shotgun start: 7:30 PM
- Format: 18 holes, the 9-hole course played twice, once from each tee set, so the night has the length and feel of a real event, not just a quick round
- Cost: Play is free with a $15 food and beverage purchase at The Turn Pub & Grill
No pre-registration required. There's no sign-up form, no registration link, nothing to fill out ahead of time. Just show up, head straight to The Turn Pub & Grill, make your $15 food and beverage purchase, and your receipt is your ticket to play. That's it, you're in!
We'd recommend arriving by 6:30 PM or earlier to give yourself time to get settled before the players meeting.
Come early, stay for the glow
Here's the thing about Black Bear Ridge: the disc golf course is only part of the story. Get there while the sun's still up and you've got a whole property to explore before the lights come on. Grab a bite at The Turn Pub & Grill (grab-and-go sandwiches, dine-in meals, a food truck, and something cold to drink), take a lap around the pro shop, or squeeze in a round of Bocce Golf or Foot Golf if you're feeling extra competitive before your competitive round even starts!
The course itself blends forested terrain with the resort's established fairways, all set along the Moira River, so even the daylight walk-through before the glow round is worth the early arrival.
Why this one's different: It's a Conservation Series night!
This round is part of the ChainLink Conservation Series, which means it's not just about glowing discs and good vibes (though there will be plenty of both). The Conservation Series ties glow disc golf to a bigger mission: getting people outside, building appreciation for the natural spaces we play in, and supporting conservation efforts along the way. Every Conservation Series event is a chance to combine the thing we love (glow disc golf) with something bigger than any one round.

Dr. Glow branded discs will be available for purchase on site, so if you're new to glow disc golf or just want to add to your collection, we've got you covered. Bring your own glow gear if you've got it, or come pick some up and jump right in!
