If you made it out for our event in June, you already know what the Dr. Glow Experience feels like at GoodLot: a disc golf course cut through a working hop farm, discs glowing under a wide-open sky, and more fun than a written description can really capture. If you weren't there, now is your chance to experience it for yourself!

On October 17, Dr. Glow and the GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co are bringing the full Dr. Glow Experience back to GoodLot for round two of GLOWLOT! Same course, same partners, and Dr. Glow has a few new tricks planned for this round that we're not ready to spoil just yet!

The Venue: GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co.

If you haven't made it out to Caledon yet, GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co. is an organic hop farm and solar-powered brewery run by amazing people, and a lot of what goes into their beer is grown right there on the property. The 18-hole course is open to the public now, and it's the kind of place that makes a glow event feel really special.

The course runs straight through the farm, so playing it after dark, glowing, with the fields around you, is something you kind of have to stand in to really understand. Last time, the fireflies showed up uninvited and pulled a bit of focus from those glowing discs. We can't promise a repeat, but we wouldn't rule it out either!

The ChainLink Conservation Series Connection

GLOWLOT is also part of ChainLink Disc Golf's Conservation Series, an initiative connecting conservation enthusiasts, nature lovers, and disc golf fans across Ontario. The idea behind it is simple: the best way to protect natural spaces is to help people fall in love with them!

Part of that mission is the Wildlife Polygram Fundraiser Discs, glow-in-the-dark and collectible, with proceeds going to support local conservation areas. Each one features a wildlife-inspired design and a nature fact, and they're PDGA approved, made from recycled beginner-friendly plastic, and UV-printed for a strong multi-colour glow.

What Glow Disc Golf Actually Is

Never played it before? Once the sun's down, the baskets light up! You stop playing disc golf the way you know it and start chasing a glowing arc across a darkened course under the night sky!

First time players are welcome! You don't need any experience for this one. Nobody can see well enough in the dark to judge your form anyway!

The Glow Discs

If you don't have glow discs of your own, there will be two options on sale the night of:

ChainLink Conservation Series Wildlife Polygram Discs. Six wildlife-inspired designs, UV-printed, made from recycled plastic, proceeds going to Ontario conservation. Pick one up and take a piece of that mission home with you.

Dr. Glow Discs. Custom-stamped, limited-run, premium Eclipse and Total Eclipse plastics. Built for the night game.

The Plan for the Night

Players' meeting is at the Oast Barn at 6:00 PM, shotgun start at 6:30 PM sharp.

We recommend getting to GoodLot well before 6:00pm if you can swing it. Grab dinner, have a beer, let the evening settle before your round starts.

The real advantage this time is the calendar. October days are shorter, so we'll be well into glow mode and still have hours before the 11:00 PM curfew to finish all 18 holes. Last time we were watching the clock a little near the end. This time, nobody has to!

A Few Things to Know Before You Go

  • 🚫 No outside alcohol on the GoodLot property. It's a firm rule. Their beer's on sale on-site and worth trying, so just leave whatever you brought from home in the car.
  • 🧥 Dress for the weather. October evenings in Caledon get colder than June ones. Dress appropriately.
  • 📋 Register on DiscGolfScene.com to lock in your spot. $10 per player.

Open to Everyone!

GLOWLOT is open to all skill levels. No experience required, and you don't need a disc golf background to have a great night. New players are welcome!

Come for the glow. Stay for the community.
