Glow for More at Albion Hills: A Glow-in-the-Dark Disc Golf Night for the Paul McBeth Foundation
I am thrilled to be returning to Albion Hills Conservation Area to light up the Birdie Course once again!
The glow events from last year's Chainlink Conservation Series were truly something special, and this year we're taking things a step further. On June 20th, Dr. Glow is back at Albion Hills for Glow for More: a glow-in-the-dark disc golf experience that doubles as a fundraiser for an organization I genuinely believe in, the Paul McBeth Foundation.
Why Albion Hills?
If you've never played disc golf at Albion Hills, let me tell you: the Birdie Course there is one of the most naturally perfect glow-in-the-dark disc golf environments I've ever played. The dense tree canopy blocks out ambient light almost completely, creating the kind of deep darkness that makes glowing discs come alive. No washed-out skies, no street lights bleeding through. Just you, your disc, and a tunnel of pure glow cutting through the trees.
It's genuinely magical. And it's exactly the kind of course that turns a first-time glow player into a forever glow player.
About the Paul McBeth Foundation and Throw for More
The Paul McBeth Foundation exists to grow the sport of disc golf in underserved and underrepresented communities, funding new course installations, equipment, and education programs in regions where disc golf has little or no presence.
Throw for More is the Foundation's annual fundraising campaign, modeled after walk-a-thons and endurance challenges. Participants gather pledges from friends, family, and supporters, either per hole played or as a flat donation, turning a day of disc golf into a meaningful contribution toward growing the sport.
Having recently had the opportunity to work with the Foundation, I can say firsthand: this is an organization worth supporting. I'm donating my time to this cause because I believe in what they're building.
Event Day: June 20th at Albion Hills
This is a full day of disc golf with a GLOW finish!
The Albion Hills disc golf community will be playing from 7:00 AM onward. You're welcome to join them at any point during the day — the more rounds, the better!
The Dr. Glow Experience begins at 8:30 PM and runs until 11:00 PM.
Admission: Disc golf rounds are free to play. A small park admission fee applies for entry to Albion Hills Conservation Area.
Open to all skill levels. No experience required!
Log Your Round on UDisc — Every Round Counts!
Here's a bonus reason to get your rounds in on June 20th: UDisc will donate $0.10 for every round logged on the app that day. It's a small but meaningful way to stack up the impact just by playing the game you love. Make sure you log every round!
How to Support the Throw for More Fundraiser
The fundraiser is completely optional. There's no obligation to solicit pledges or donate. BUT... if you want to make your round count for something beyond the scorecard, here's how:
Option 1 — Join the Team and Fundraise
Easily join the Albion Hills team, create your own fundraising page and collect pledges from family, friends and supporters. Pledges can be made per hole played or as a flat donation.
Option 2 — Sponsor an Existing Player
Skip the fundraising and simply donate directly to one of the Albion Hills team members already participating in Throw for More.
👉 Visit the Albion Hills Disc Golf Team's Throw for More page here
Whether you raise $10 or $1,000, every contribution helps build disc golf access in communities that don't have it yet.

The Albion Hills Disc Golf Team is already in the mix. If we push hard enough together, this could be a very good day for the team leaderboard!
Don't Have Glow Discs? We've Got You Covered
No glow discs? No problem.
You'll have the opportunity to pick up some of the Chainlink Conservation Series Wildlife Polygram fundraiser discs, collectible glow-in-the-dark discs at the front gate at Albion Hills that help support the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
These are special discs. Here's why:
- Collectible wildlife polygram designs featuring local species from Ontario conservation areas
- Each disc includes a corresponding educational nature fact, the same facts featured on real signage along conservation area disc golf courses
- Made from a recycled, beginner-friendly plastic with a grippy feel
- PDGA approved for play in sanctioned events
These discs are a perfect pick-up whether you're a first-time glow player or a seasoned collector. They play great, look incredible under UV light, and every purchase supports conservation.
