Glow Disc Golf at Dentonia: A Winter Glow Disc Golf First in Toronto!
Glow-in-the-dark disc golf continues to gain momentum across Southern Ontario, and this winter proved just how strong the community has become. Glow Night at Dentonia marked the first ever glow disc golf event at Dentonia Park Disc Golf Course, bringing players together for an unforgettable night of winter disc golf in Toronto.
Despite challenging January conditions, 46 players showed up after dark to experience glow-in-the-dark disc golf in one of the city’s most unique park settings. What began as light rain turned into a full spectrum of winter weather. Rain, snow, sleet, wind, freezing rain, and finally a calm, clear finish. Through it all, spirits stayed high and the glow never faded.
Glow Disc Golf at Dentonia Park Disc Golf Course
Dentonia Park Disc Golf Course has quickly earned a reputation as one of Toronto’s most enjoyable and distinctive courses, and it proved to be an excellent fit for glow disc golf. The course’s elevation changes, shorter par-3 layout, and blind basket placements created a fun and engaging challenge that rewarded strong approach shots and confident putting.
For glow-in-the-dark disc golf events in Toronto, accessibility matters, and Dentonia excels. The course is located directly beside Victoria Park subway station, making it one of the most transit-friendly disc golf courses in the city. Free parking is also available, allowing players from across the GTA and Southern Ontario to attend with ease, even on a winter night.
With baskets illuminated as part of the full Dr. Glow lighting setup, the course came alive after sunset and showcased how urban parks can successfully host glow disc golf events year-round.
